Join the Education Law Collaborative and Teens Take Charge for an in-depth discussion about school integration that brings together the diverse perspectives of students, activists, and policy and legal experts working on the ground towards positive change in public schools.
Students of Teens Take Charge will share testimonies about the impacts of school segregation on their lives. The students will then host a panel on lessons and strategies for integrating schools in the 21st century, following the Supreme Court decision in Parents Involved in Community Schools v. Seattle School District No. 1. How can we create schools that are integrated, culturally responsive and equitable?
